The DIK e. V. is a publicly funded, non-university research institute operating under the umbrella of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport and Building. The institute is dedicated to advancing applied research in rubber technology through innovative R&D projects. Its mission is to explore the chemical and physical behavior of rubber, develop practical industrial applications, and promote sustainable and circular solutions for the rubber industry. Research results are shared with industry and the public in an appropriate form to support technological progress and innovation.
