Taraxa develops plant-based alternatives to synthetic materials—starting with natural rubber from dandelions. By combining science, agriculture, and clean technology, we aim to reduce plastic waste, support regenerative industries, and create scalable solutions for a changing world. Our first product under development is an organic rubber infill for artificial turf, designed with the goal of meeting the EU’s 2031 microplastic ban, called Lionfill. It is a high-performance infill engineered from over 95% renewable, natural raw materials — a new benchmark in sustainable turf technology. Designed and produced by Taraxa AS, Lionfill combines advanced material science with a simple goal: to deliver the durability and playability of conventional infill materials, without the environmental cost. Taraxa is vertically integrating from seed to distribution. With biorefineries in the works and strategic growing partnerships, we’re scaling a cleaner materials industry from the ground up.
