Mojito RE-Shoes
Made from recycled end-of-life Mojito shoes. Through research and testing, the project turns end-of-life footwear into resources, opening a new perspective on how shoes are designed, made and recycled.
STEP 1: COMPLETED
In the first phase, the project will involve SCARPA’s distribution network to gather worn Mojito shoes from consumers. The goal is to obtain secondary raw materials to produce 15,000 pairs of new shoes.
STEP 2: COMPLETED
The collected shoes will become part of a virtuous recycling system, which aims to turn them into new raw materials, aiming for reduced environmental impact compared to standard production processes.
STEP 3: COMPLETED
A completely new and a high quality style of shoe will reach the market in 2026 to complete a circular and sustainable process.
"A circular approach that gives new value to what already exists, reduces waste, and promotes a more conscious idea of both products and business"
Sandro Parisotto, SCARPA's president
