Since the earth’s resources are limited, we need to take care of them. When a tree is cut down, it takes a long time for a new one to grow back. That’s why Reselo use residual products from the forest industry. They get a new life as Reselo Rubber to eliminate waste.

To put this into perspective: bark from a single tree can produce enough material for approximately 24 shoe soles. Scaled across forestry operations, this represents a significant untapped resource built around renewable resources and smarter material utilization. This is what we tapped into with Skråmträsk, an artisan shoemaker in northern Sweden, as we launched the Reselo shoe sole across a large portion of their core collection. 

The soles for these shoes are made of Reselo Rubber mixed with natural rubber and synthetic rubber. The rubber in the sole is 40% bio-based, it has a lower carbon footprint than ”regular” rubber soles and is also more durable!
