Abstract
In the second quarter of 2023, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management commissioned Rebel & TAUW to carry out a study into the shoe chain and its environmental impact. The research answers questions about the sector and the product, outlines the chain from cradle to grave, quantifies the environmental impact of four common types of shoes and describes four policy measures that make the chain circular.
